March 2015-Karn Steigelmeier-Got Water?

All of us water drinkers, as well as fish, rivers, lakes, and gardens need water for our environment, homes, lives, and businesses. Could we run out of it?
Colorado is facing a gap in being able to provide enough water for the State’s future. Karn Stiegelmeier, Summit County Commissioner and WOTS Board member will be presenting “The Colorado Water Plan” in time to get your comments included before the DRAFT plan is completed. Karn represents Summit County on the Colorado River Basin Roundtable, Summit Water Quality Committee and North West Colo. Council of Government’s Water Quantity and Quality Committee.  She will describe the status of the Draft Plan, different perspectives statewide and how you can get involved.
And, speaking of getting involved:
We are in search of a few BOARD MEMBERS. Might that be YOU? The positions that are becoming vacant in May are Vice President, President and Treasurer. If you are interested in contributing your energy to the organization through one of these positions, we’d love to hear from. Shoot me an email at Thanks!!
